Marshland. 2014. Spain.
9/10
Two detectives in 1980 Spain go to a small town to solve the murder of two girls.
Excellent crime drama that has a small cast. The two cops are different in their styles of getting information but both characters are similar in that they are calm and calculating, which gives the film a typical 'slow burn' kinda feel. As the film progresses it becomes more tense as certain characters are forced or bribed to reveal things.

Better watch out. 2017.
4/10
A babysitter gets more than she bargins for.
Funny black comedy about a young bloke and his mate who are being looked after by a girl that the young bloke likes.
Mildly amusing with some laugh out loud parts and violence. The plot can kinda be worked out from watching the trailer but it does has some minor surprises. There are better Xmas film like Rare Exports, Sint and Krampus, but this is good for a cheap laugh.

The Fatman.
Mel Gibson is Chris cringle (santa) and Walton goggins is a hitman hired by a dipshit spoiled kid to take Santa's head.
He was given coal for Xmas as he's a twat so wants revenge. Turns out santa can't die. His elves and toy factory is so good that the US military hires them to build electronic panels for new fighter jets. It was watchable without being sick. But once will be enough.

god i havent seen that in a dogs age!
It wasn't a bad movie. I laughed at the awful sound effects. In all fairness, it was filmed like 55+ years ago though. lol

but as a kid,you wouldnt know any better back then. a kid today wouldnt watch it. first off, because its black n white. and also because you mentioned sound effects and such.
maybe if it were to be remade today, kids wouldnt think twice about it,with the special effects n all.

Actually, they did do a remake quite some time ago. I has forgotten about it until you replied just now.
