I kind of stole/took in lieu. I worked for a stonemasonry/restoration company at the time and the project manager had no idea about my role but insisted she knew it better than me (bosses daughter who ran a greek restaurant with no building experience) and through the summer holidays we had a big job at a school and they wanted me to do weekends, i said yeah but i want this amount for sat and sunday etc and all was agreed. I worked 4 weekends and didnt get paid and they kept saying that its a different payment to your weekly wage due to tax and insurance. Bullshit. I loaded my van up with probably £2500 worth of power tools and told her she would get them back once i am paid. She called the police and the police came to my house, after a long chat they told me i was in the right! She never paid so i kept some of the tools and sold the rest to make up the money for the weekend work. I would love to shit on that bitch.

When I worked at a retail clothing store I used to steal clothes all the time. They always told us to keep busy and one of the ways they had us do this was by having us fold clothes. So, I'd look for something I wanted, gathered it and a few other articles of clothing which I didn't want, then take it into the dressing room (which didn't have cameras) and go into one of the empty rooms and either roll it up really small and put it in my pants, or wear it under my actual clothes. Then I'd actually fold the other clothes and put it back out on the floor, just in case they were watching the cameras. Got a nice couple of sweaters, boxers, shoes and shirts. Never got caught. I used to play dumb a lot so that they would think I was too dumb to pull that off.

Also use to work at a very mainstream popular retail store and I never stole from their except for once and then I got paranoid they'd catch me so I quit.

When I was a kid I set up a little side hustle. I used to work as a paperboy - sucked arse hauling papers. Like a a fat fuck of an E.T in some milk crates strapped to the front going up hills at 5:30am. All for about $AUS20.00 a week. So what I would do was steal porn mags and hide them within my deliveries.

Then at High School I would sell them for $3.00 each at my locker - made good business. I ended up getting blamed for putting a dead bird in some old bitches letterbox - which I didn't do, though cool idea. So next day I took all the bullshit pamphlet's out of the papers and threw them over her entire lawn.

That was the end of my paper round and porn hustle.

Just stealing during my closing shifts when nobody else was around and after the department had been cleaned up by me, and I would put away the meat showcase, I'd grab a steak or a couple sausages, just small things that could fit in my pocket (I work large baggy work pants with multiple pockets usually filled with stuff anyways so even walking by a manager or front end, no one would ask if I had meat in my pockets. Sometimes I'd cut roast or weigh up whole briskets still in the vacuum pack to put out to the counter and I'd switch labels from a lighter item to a heavier item so I'd save a few bucks a run it through the self check outs. No biggie since customers do that shit all the time. I also had my own issues with the management and the company so I'm not sorry. Fuck them.

Early in my professional career I was a product manager for a computer company and when I moved into my cubicle I found about a dozen memory SIMM modules the previous occupant had left behind. After a few months asked my boss what I should do with them, he just shrugged and said “I don’t know” (not the most inspiring of leaders). So another few months I said fuck it and they went home with me. Listed them on a buy/sell site and sold most of them over the course of a weekend. Think I netted around $500.

But I was scared shitless I was going to get caught. Never did tho. Doubt they were ever noticed as missing. Funny thing is one of my coworkers was busted about a year later for stealing $100k in new hard drives and ram.

I feel I should not even post it sooo ill not give details where BUT all I can say is I would use the pallet electric jack in the back room after hours and lift the metal locked gate (the machine would force a big gap still if gate locked lolol) and slide a TON of booze out. Im talking crates of liquor. I literally had like 100 bottles of the same shit in my kitchen and I ended up trading the booze for guns and car work I had so many. Pretty funny when I would drive home, my pickup truck had shit sticking out and I didn't give no fucks and drove home with a bed full of crates open late at night.

I work as a CNC setup technician, so I set up, program, and run parts (usually aluminum) on various CNC machines. There's not much to steal, really. I did take a bunch of band-aids and gauze wrap from the first aid room once, though, because my wife got burned at work. Ah well, fuck 'em.

I work for a grocery store so I'll steal drinks, snacks, and anything small that I can eat or put in my small bag I bring daily. There is a friend in the Deli that gives me extra food, and one in Starbucks that makes drinks for free. A lot of us do this because fuck it. We work the afternoon shift so management tends to leave one person in charge. Long as it's not large amounts of one item, expensive or noticeable besides a regular loss they don't notice.

I started pinching stuff, from my first job, within the first year, (i worked in the grocery industry).
Got so good at it i was taking all sorts of stuff. I ended up with box loads of food i would give away. Booze (pre mixes) filled a boot up with it all one night and left it by the side of the main road. Took cartons of smokes (10 packets to a ctn), bottles of hard spirits. Did that for around 20 years never caught.
When l was made redundant l took over 30 boxes of nitros oxide (NOS canisters) went on a huge bender...

Now I work in the Inwards Goods dept of a plumbing dept. The management really don't care. So l take what i can. That's involved taking vanities, a $1600 toilet. A $3,000 stone top, taps, heaters various tools etc...
