I reassure you, we don't hate the English (yes I'm French) the only problem is that Macron and the other presidents before them have bet everything on Europe to the detriment of our culture and our history. the people are divided since 1945 and France is divided in two in the schemas of thought (paris and the people of the provinces) you add massive and uncontrollable immigration and you get this garbage can of paris and an Islamization of the country. the other problem is that many French people have a leftist opinion of the world in wanting to give nationality to whoever wants it (without necessarily deserving it) whereas I think that to say that we are part of a people it does not do not be afraid to do what is necessary. in conclusion no we do not hate the english and even some of us rejoiced and were happy when we learned about brexit because for several years we have seen an excellent idea like europe being violated by a left ideology to want to welcome everyone without taking care of their compatriots. the major problem in my country is government. where you vote for the ideas of a candidate because you support him here, people vote to avoid being against the passage (therefore the right) and we have already seen in Lebanon what it feels like to want to welcome everyone when we are a country with christian roots.
