I wanted to make a thread about a movie I saw a while ago. It was described to me as the scariest movie of all time. I would describe it more as disturbing.

If you like watching gore because it disturbs you or because it makes you feel something real in a largely fake world, I think you would probably appreciate it.

It also may be the best portrayal of what it was like to live through WWII and the einsatzgruppen in eastern Europe, although I have no personal experience on that. Many directors have screened it (watched it for influence/perspective) while making their own war movies.

For those who have seen it, maybe you want to post about what you liked about the movie; most disturbing scenes, features that made the movie memorable or intense, the unique way it was shot, whatever...
