I don't really see the issue, the whale was already dead ... it's just nature doing its thing. I dislike seeing animals die ... but dead ones "doing stuff" is not as "offensive" to the feelings I might have otherwise had if it was alive and suffering.
I still dislike seeing roadkill.
This video was rather interesting and impressive, unlike roadkill.
That donkey getting hit and vaporised by a train tho was still impressive, despite it being alive (though, getting vaporised means it didn't suffer one bit)
