For being so old she's black and white, the white woman has fantastic boobies. They kinda look fake but that wasn't a thing back in the black and white days.
The fossil record is no longer the go to resource...all about genetic migration these days. Besides, in practice we actually have an extensive physiological library of hominid evolution. What Robert Sepehr has to say is interesting and definitely worthy of consideration. What happened over the eons leading up to the appearance and domination of homo sapiens is still a mystery regardless of scientists touting the fossil record. That fossil record is like four pieces of a thousand-piece jigsaw puzzle. And academia is so full of biased and politically-correct douchebags with superiority complexes, it's hard to take these blowhards seriously. Human ancestry is a fascinating subject. Thank you for this bit of enlightenment.
Still extremely incomplete and full of biased perspectives. The fossil record is no longer the go to resource...all about genetic migration these days. Besides, in practice we actually have an extensive physiological library of hominid evolution.

The history of the Roman Empire is also incomplete but the concept seems to be accepted.Still extremely incomplete and full of biased perspectives.
My problem is not with the scientific method. I agree that deductive and inductive reasoning are powerful and impressive tools that have significantly expanded human awareness. And I am sure that you will agree that science is not intended to produce static scenarios that should go unchallenged. What I find unacceptable is the groupthink and identity politics that have vitiated the scientific method in recent times and the individuals who shout people down who "are not following the science" in the name of upholding biased left-wing narratives. To these idiots, science is static and should not be challenged. The typical responses to those who challenge the China Virus narrative is a great example of this mentality. The history of the Roman Empire is also incomplete but the concept seems to be accepted.
Scientific method holds no bias, just the people who use the information discovered disingenuously - they can be disproven if bias is shown through robust peer review.
You don't need to know all to prove parts. It'll come with time and technology.
Besides, I thought JB Ballard's writings were based on interpretation?
I couldn't agree with you more. Political sway and social conditioning are impediments to true knowledge - I believe in truth no matter whose feelings it hurts. To me the manipulated narrative is so recognisably manipulated and I just don't understand how people buy in so simply - the brainwashed do not realise they are brainwashed. My problem is not with the scientific method. That is why I was happy to learn about the writings of Robert Sepehr. Those like this writer who "do not follow the science" of course are ignored by the elitist science establishment so that people have to learn about alternative perspectives on their own, perspectives that may worthy of consideration and should be considered, but are not because they do not conform to the "accepted" versions.
As far as JG Ballard goes, his writings typically have a foundation of science but not in any conventional way. Just to give you a hint of what I mean, here is a quote from The Atrocity Exhibition: "Science is the ultimate pornography, analytic activity whose main aim is to isolate objects or events from their contexts in time and space. This obsession with the specific activity of quantified functions is what science shares with pornography."
Are you named after the mudskipper fish? If so you are pretty coolI couldn't agree with you more. Eske Willersley who's in the video is a decently respected scientist in his field/s, I've read some of his stuff previously - as a layman I don't pretend to be able to judge him academically but he has an ability to present his findings is a clear fashion. He was heavily involved in sequencing the Homo Neanderthalensis genetic make up.
The history of hominin migration isn't linear, it's more like a braided river with many combinations, false starts and dead ends. The conditions in Africa have been relatively stable these last 4 or 5 million years and because of this the mechanism of adaption slowed right down. Those who stayed stagnated. Hominins leaving Africa were placed into completely different environment where it wasn't business as usual and if you didn't adapt and change by random mutation and survival of the fittest then you died. The old lineages became defunct. Change was the only future. Their were ancient waves of Homo Erectus, Homo Habilis and quite probably a decent number of more ancient hominids who left Africa far far earlier than modern Homo Sapiens migrations. They quite probably interbred with the proto-Denisovans, proto-Neanderthals and all manner of other combination pseudo humans.
It's now fascinating seeing hypothesis and evidence coming out that add even more braids to the river - there's no reason there couldn't be separation hominid evolution in geographically distinct continents - there are probably far more combinations out there we aren't currently aware of.
Technology and time.
I don't know a huge amount of Ballard's writings but I'm thinking that I'll be hitting up my Audible account to become more familiar.

Interesting indeed.

Sure is, mind you even if it wasn't I'd have to say yes so I could still be cool haha. Are you named after the mudskipper fish? If so you are pretty cool![]()
