I honestly do not care. The media acts like the world was peaceful before the Russia-Ukraine thing, but everyday some Government or country is killing its citizens, opposing groups are at war somewhere, etc. I don't care about that either, so why should I care about this just because it's getting media coverage?

I can understand caring because you know people that are affected. I do not. And until I do, I probably won't care. That's not nihilistic, it's just human. Having spent a little bit of time in Russia (I think it was 5 trips) and dealt with them both as clients and coworkers I've learned to really dislike them. Funny that, I worked with 2 Russians, nice enough guys, BUT, always up for a scam, one used to move stolen cars around Europe, never got caught, does say a lot about their government when people have to scam to get ahead in life.
