And at least if he let his hair grow out enough it would hide it.

My younger brother is a pretty well known tattoo artist and he would flatly refuse all shitty ones. He also would refuse to get someone inked people with crazy requests on sizes and stuff. He's got a reputation to keep and takes his art very seriously.
