They just gonna do the same thing they did in WWII - give one WWI Mosin's rifle per every 5 soldiers and send them forward under the threat of being executed.
And if winter suddenly comes and they all freeze to death, who cares - they will pull another 300K out of their refrigerators they are hiding in, like in the post just above this one.

Absolutely. There's plenty of weapons on the battlefield to pickup along the way. I strongly doubt nukes will be utilized though, as you don't nuke an area you want for resources and land. He will start dumping chemical weapons around the clock and gas them all out.

He's definitely more prone to nuclear attacks on U.S. territories/mainland. Either way, it's going to get pretty ugly.

That's why Putin is so kissy kissy with the Chinese, their type 56 rifles use the same round as the older AK 47, don't know if Chinas newer rifles use the same round as the AKM though.

Our weapons are by far superior, but our military is undersized and improperly trained/staffed for effective combat readiness. Russia isn't much of a threat alone, but they will be attacking with China and possibly N.K. or Iran. We had 900,000 more members during Desert Storm than we have today. We also only have 245 active ships, down from 471. We need to be at 500 to maintain effective readiness, but we don't even have enough reserve members to fill those ships, nor ready our mothball fleets.
