Scientists have yet to find life in the observable universe. True it could be there. But its pretty undisputed that there is no life other than us in our solar system. The distance from Earth to the Sun is 93 million miles (149 million kilometers), but the distance to the farthest planet Neptune is nearly 3 billion miles (4.5 billion kilometers). So its still millions of miles of dead nothing and just us, any way you slice it. I don't think many people really appreciate how large the universe is, and how barren it mostly is. The earths circumference is 24,902 miles. So just in our solar system there is the space for 3,734 earths, with life occupying only one of those spaces.

For context, a disease is considered rare if it occurs in 1 of every 1659 people (in the US, its 1 in 2000 in most other countries so still close). A person has a better chance of having Duchenne muscular dystrophy than for there to be another source of life in this solar system. Life is RARE. Its the exception in the known universe, and we just take it for granted. Even if there are other galaxies out there full of life, we are the underdogs in this galaxy. The fact that we exist at all is startlingly exceptional.

I have spent the past 2.5 years studying the human mind in ways they don’t teach at Medical School, and spirituality. Mostly to maintain my recovery from opioid and alcohol addiction, but now to help my patients in a much deeper way (with amazing feedback so far).

Out of all the books I’ve studied, the two that really sum all the relevant information in profound ways are:

The understand your own mind, and that of others…

A modern spiritual way of seeing your place in the universe and learning to be conscious and present. I try to follow the principles in this book with daily practice and can honestly say I am the happiest I’ve ever been…

Space travel and landing on other planets is a dream, The US government fucked it up and gave more credence to the whole moon landing as a hoax. You know that documentary that they do on the Mars rovers on Netflix they admitted they did not know how to approach landing on a planet and therefore that is why they chose to shoot it to the surface in a big bubble. They really fucked up on that documentary and gave a lot away.
No one cares anymore those in power have given up it is just a case of letting the rich get fat and die and the poor remain our workhorses to add to our purses. The only reason they are attempting to explore other planets is that they know this planet is done they have raped it completely.
there is no stopping now so lets continue, all this renewable energy bullshit they still have to mine for minerals for the batteries on electric vehicles it is not sustainable and is infact worse than what we are doing now. democracy is dead and so will the worls be soon

I've often thought that all we need to solve most, maybe all, of the world's problems, is to value life...any life...above all else and appreciate it for the exceedingly rare thing it is in the observable universe. In all the observable universe it's just us. Millions and millions of miles of cold, dead nothing. And us.
Ya! Except Da Niggers tho!!! Their breathing "Our Air" in Your Wonderful Universe!!! Their ruining all of it!!!
Just Fkn with Ya Girlfriend!🌹🌹

Excellent piece. It very much feels like the world, particularly the Western world is dying. Through history we have seen it all and done it all.. and now we live as part of an algorithm.. watched. We are just cogs on a huge machine now. The matrix is becoming very real.
Really the Western world??? Hv you looked at Europe and shitholes in the middle east lately

Just not the lives of unborn babies right?

I made it clear, I value the lives of born children above fetuses. I always will. Clearly you don't agree. I don’t care. Have no interest in changing your mind.

But that being said, if everyone valued life like they should they'd properly use birth control thus severely diminishing the need for elective abortions. So it should be a win win.

If it has a heartbeat it's alive, that's a fact not an opinion. I agree with your second statement though.

I agree the arts are dieing and white people are having their culture undermined. I heard it called the start of the dark ages.
Information is controlled even on this site. Censored moderated... knowledge is becoming proprietary and science goes wherever there is money. Since when was science a totalitarial lockdown thing?
The enlightenment is a good thing to research it focused on the individual.
Social media is built on the backs of unique individuals and we give it power in my opinion. All our posts are building blocks. Then they use their private castle we built to selectively censor our voices.

Thank you!!!, i think mandatory good dads should be a prereq. Sad thing is that half the people who have an opinion had a single mom so they want to make it "cool".

Thank you for your extremely well considered response . I like people like you.

I don't consider brain dead people alive either. They have heart beats. It's an opinion. But you think you are in the right, so yay for you.
So if a person doesn't meet certain criteria they aren't alive, therefore they have no value? I'm just trying to understand how you went from saying we should value "any life" to only valuing some.

I would say my piece about the amount of disdain I have for the entire human race and how I think we should all be wiped out ……but …I won’t… 🙃
