Are you a Narcissist?

Atheism leads to narcissism.

The narcissist is a mediocre manipulator and systematically ends up tripping over his carpet of contradictions and neuroses. And is therefore released from wherever he tries to exercise his "art" in the service of his bloated ego. Even if this time can be very long.

People mass-produced by our society, and eminently destructive. To clear and flee in any case, or, at your option, stick him to the post and put 12 bullets in his skin. When it starts to get too... ''cumbersome''

Well, that's a good way to look at it. Most of them live in fear and rejection.
Unfortunately emotions I can relate to + I was raised by narcissists, hence the fear. Hoping I’ve got enough self awareness to avoid becoming the same way at least. It’s ironic that being hurt by narcissists often leaves you with the same insecurities they had, and that being gaslit by them makes you genuinely concerned about being a narc yourself.

And, that's what makes you stronger, your will power and determination is your weapon. :rose: ;)

That's not true at all. I'm quite surprised you wrote that.

Human babies and young children being naturally narcissistic is cited in many of the psychology and brain development books I’ve studied. Narcissism isn’t a negative trait of a young child’s brain. Babies and young children only know the world as they experience it in their own ‘bubble’, and their bubble revolves around them. They don’t initially posses the ability to distinguish themselves from external objects etc.

As ‘narcissism’ carries such a negative connotation, many people prefer to state things like ‘young children and babies are naturally selfish’. The term ‘narcissism’ is generally used in relation to adults with Narcissistic Personality Disorder (or trait). But there are other more generalised interpretations in psychology.

I’ve amended my previous post to make it clear I refer to babies and very young children. I hope that makes sense.

When a person is constantly fanning the flames, even if it's a joking manner, it's still a roots to Narcissistic behavior.

People with bloated ego's, on a powertrip, and denying their own flaws, are dangerous to themselves, and others.
This thread obviously triggered a certain person. That in itself tells a story of 1000 words. I wonder if narcissism causes bad dreams?

Ah yes.. that makes more sense. Thank you for the edit. This is something I too have studied, in depth.

How about people with bloated guts?

Sometimes I scroll through this site for so long and see so much shite that when I see a well articulated and thoughtful comment like this I get actual whiplash

How does someone fare when they treat their flaws like an argument piece? Say, loudly accepting their flaws and claiming they have more?
People can easily blow their negative traits out of proportion, isn't that soft-wired into the brain?

I feel like anyone who handle their flaws like that is too absorbed in their own world, and would count as narcissistic.
