I went to apply to a county sheriff's office some time ago. Part of the interview was that I had to meet with the Sheriff. After a few questions, he said the most important thing is that as an Officer I would never do anything to embarrass the office or himself......... I had to give him my word on that.

'Sexual battery' reads funny (for me), like a storage of energy meant for sexual activity.

Clearwater is in Florida too. You must be talking about Polk County sheriff Grady Judd. He’s a couple of counties away from this one. Both this one and Polk County are in Florida. Just neighbors.
