I have never been a good swimmer so I for one would not be going in the water to try and save someone unless it was a child or one of my family and even then it is likely that we would both end up drowning.People die often enough trying to save others from drowning. It is dangerous as people struggling can pull you down, cause you to swallow water and the like. The best thing to do is grab them from behind. Or never go in unless you are an excellent swimmer.
No amount of CPR is gonna save you after you meet the Red Truck..... or go under a Train.If more people took the time to just take a CPR class, there would be a lot fewer videos for us to watch.
