Imagine they went to the wrong house because the cop in the bear suit couldn't see clearly in the costume, so then they arrested some completely random woman and she was screaming is absolute horror. But then the real criminals came out - all wearing their own disguises. So then the bear-suited cop starts shooting at the whole hodgepodge of costumed character criminals like Mickey Mouse and Goofy and the local children all start crying seeing this. Then the newspapers write a story on it with the headline "Un-BEAR-able, Gunfire Erupts between Costumed Cops and Masked Criminal Gang - 30+ Dead!" Then the children, always suspicious of costumed characters now just beat the shit out of everyone they ever see dressed in a costume culminating with the death of the Times Square based Big Bird, Barney the Dinosaur, and three of the four Telitubies.
