We lived in Maine in a town of about 1000 and it was winter with a few feet of snow on the ground and Christmas morning. So you aren't making it to any hospitals. Your best option is to walk to the local doctors home.

Must have been challenging getting to the doctor if you lived on the far side of the town. Guess houses close to the doctor's were the priciest.

Yea and doctors living in those places usually have farms. So he had a place setup for treating the animals and in a pinch other medical emergencies. 😂

At least baby was born alive unlike some I've seen on these sites maybe it go to some rich parents that can raise it cause if girls giving birth in street she obviously don't have health care I'm assuming I could be wrong maybe she didn't make it to a hospital in time
