Just imagine what would have happened if the assasination had succeeded. With no Republican candidate and Joe Biden facing calls for his replacement by his own party just 4 months from the election. Nothing good. Trump didn't just dodge a bullet, this whole country just dodged a bullet. Regardless of your political stance election integrity is paramount for a country to exist and if the two candidates (both Trump and Biden) are forcefully removed by outside factors, everything collapses.

Yup. Maybe it's less a ploy at an assassination attempt versus trying to make her or the Secret Service look dirty &/or incompetent, get her replaced. Since the shooter (or one of them, if he was not acting alone) is dead it seems, I guess we'll only know what the theys tell us or what people can piece together themselves. It could all be a murder disguised amongst what looks an assassination attempt as well. I don't believe they've released the names of the dead or injured rally attendees or details of who they were yet.
