Thanks for reminding me to put my seatbelt on
Drive like an ass hole, die like an ass hole.
I used to think the same thing until I learned that seatbelts will unlock in a rollover. Automatic seatbelts were banned because you would be ejected in a rollover or would allow too much movement causing injury. That's what seat belts are for...
He may have been wearing his seatbelt. They are prone to not stay locked in a rollover.Car ended up the right side up. He'd have probably survived wearing a seat belt but thankfully he wasn't. One less dangerous retard..
Should everyone use this?I used to think the same thing until I learned that seatbelts will unlock in a rollover. Automatic seatbelts were banned because you would be ejected in a rollover or would allow too much movement causing injury.

A seatbelt attached to that roll bar won't unlock as easy as other vehicles. That's what a jeep wrangler has to keep it from happening. One of the reasons for unlocking in a rollover is the roof gets pushed in which relaxes the seatbelt and unlocks it. Others have a mechanism that unlocks when rollover forces are subjected to it. A rollbar in vehicles would save a lot of lives but they are unsightly.
In my experience, you can unlock yourself with just one push at the harness buckle.( maybe depends on make or model of the harness )A seatbelt attached to that roll bar won't unlock as easy as other vehicles. I can't remember my experience with rollovers. My head hit the drivers side window, shattered it then hit the ground. When asked if I had my seatbelt on at the hospital I couldn't remember if I did or didn't. Concussion had caused memory loss. For some reason the only thing I could remember was the song that was playing on the radio.
