Serious I have an electric car pros and cons

Pros

- fast as fuck ( this does 0-60 in 4.5secs)
- full of options
- big and spacious
- fantastic for in the city

Cons

- gonna cost you private charging if it ain't a company car
- does 500km but you can't use those options it comes with
- winter the battery only does 250km

atm im enjoying it but I haven't done a winter yet..

Well If they are that advanced they could make it automatically come on in those areas, I'm sure I seen something about newer Nissan Skylines only breaking the speed limit if you are on a race track in Japan on Top Gear back when Clarkson was on it.

Massive con, needs coal or nuke power plants, but, the greenies (who pushed for E-cars) hate them, solar just can't supply the power, can't recycle the batteries, the pros quickly go down the drain at the first batt failure and anyone that's ridden bikes knows about 'bad earths'.

Seriously speaking, in my opinion electric cars can be very positive as long as they are used as city cars.

I'm happy to buy older cars they're easy to work on so mechanical cost is nothing, brakes, oil, coolant, engine sensors, plugs, coils, pumps are all easy to replace. New cars are a fucking joke, mechanically. Designed by bean counters not engineers. Cheap shit cast metal parts and plastic, electrical nightmare covered in stupid shrouds and covers with no room to work unless you pull half the engine out. Replace a body part? it's the entire side of the car because it's some stupid one peice panel that wraps around. Fuck off. Modern cars are garbage, enjoy getting raped by your mechanic for basic service $$$$
