Switzerland to ‘soon’ use first suicide pod for assisted dying

No. This was a cocktail they ingested. I think it was a BBC documentary. I saw this close to a decade ago...
Cool. I have possibly seen the same one on the BBC too. Switzerland has always had the same law since I was little I think and many foreigners go there for assisted suicide, just no licensed medical doctor(s) can help you is the thing.

Plenty of humans euthanize their beloved pets who they consider family if they're that bad off. I think societies globally should allow for the same for humans but apparently, legally minded control freak individuals would rather people suffer as long as possible or do an undignified suicide because this is the upside-down world.

If I was going down the route of assisted suicide, I’d want to be heavily sedated or anaesthetised if the mode of death was asphyxiation. There would be a notable period of panic as our body detected the lowering oxygen levels.

That being said, we may get some footage from inside these pods at some point, which would be interesting.
How do you know there would be a notable period of panic

An American woman who was meant to be the first person to use the controversial new Sarco “suicide pod” in Switzerland backed out while accusing the company behind it of being “heartless” in exploiting her for publicity and trying to get her life savings, according to a report.

The 55-year-old, identified under the alias Jessica Campbell, leveled the accusations against the group behind the capsule — Exit International’s Swiss affiliate, the Last Resort — in a letter written at some point before her assisted suicide with another company in July, Swiss outlet Neue Zürcher Zeitung reported.

Her allegations resurfaced after Swiss police on Tuesday arrested four people when news broke that the Sarco capsule had been used for the first time, helping a 64-year-old American woman die.

What is this, a gas chamber?
"Compassionate suicide" is allowed in Europe, but only in a few western countries
In other countries, let your hair fall out, your nails fall off and your skin tear off, then the cancer will eat you in great pain, or if you have a stroke, you should lie motionless for at least 4 years so that the flesh on your back rots in the meantime to the bone from lying down a lot
But this comes at a price, it requires thousands of euros and a lot of medical papers, which the medical team there will study for several days and then make the decision whether to give the green signal, i.e. whether the person can receive the cocktail for his illness he falls into a coma within a few minutes, then the second substance relaxes the muscles that move the lungs, and the third substance causes a heart muscle spasm, and thus death occurs
The same Swiss pharmaceutical procedure is also used in the United States, for executions by poison injections, it is only administered intravenously there, and in Switzerland you have to drink the deadly cocktail yourself from a glass, which is recorded on camera and before that they sign a declaration with you as the last thing, saying that you definitely want to be an assisted suicide
I don't see terminal cancer or stroke patients prolonging their suffering, it's better for them to die if they choose and the state of the current country would not have the right to prevent them from doing so

The best suicide for men is a room full of beautiful, virile, naked young girls...all of them wanting sex and the user never able to have an orgasm. Heart attack guaranteed within 1 hour.

Would the body respond the same under heavy sedation? If the breathing is slowed wayyy the fuck down, would the body's panic mode set in much slower?

If a hypnotic medication like midazolam was given IV in just the right dose to properly sedate the patient, they wouldn’t get the panic response. Midazolam is often used to sedate people for medical and surgical procedures like reducing fractures and dislocations as it works so well and wears off quickly once the dosing is stopped.

I dont think i would ever end it but if i did i would prob tie a strong rope to a tree get in my car with the noose around my neck and fill the rest of the car seats with blow up dolls blast aqua-barbie girl on full volume and floor it with my dick hanging out whoever finds me will have a little chuckle

You'll need to make amends with your dad if you want that.
Perhaps you would make him proud if you got a fucking job, loser.
You can’t make amends with a narcissist who can’t admit he’s done anything wrong. I don’t care what he thinks at this point in my life, I neither love or respect him.
