Just because it's "tradition" doesn't mean we have to or SHOULD respect it. Slavery, human sacrifice, and widow/orphan killing (infanticide in general) are all traditions too and there's no way in hell we should bring back infanticide.... 🤭 (although I'm sure these things do still occur in places)

Agreed though I imagine it would displace lots of workers all at once & there's probably lots of families that depend on those events still being held but, in re: infanticide... that one's dependent upon when you feel life begins which differs in every culture. That ones always a hot topic & what button they push politically to try to divide each culture too.

I live in cattle country, you're right. People with property on orchards, farms and ranches here have their own bull arenas. I don't know if it's legal or zoning and law enforcement just turn the other cheek since we're all agriculture here.
