In Darwin the aboriginal people drink up on pension night and mayhem happens on the roads. People wandering around drunk and the only thing you can see are their white teeth.
Worse in Katherine, about 300km south down the Stuart Highway. I've driven across the bridge (Katherine river as you come into town) and have faced 10 or so totally drunk black abos on a black night wandering, arms out stretched like airplanes, forcing me to slow down to about 10 kmh and weave between them. Madness...

So story time. My father in law went to college in Kansas, during segregation. Since he was native he had to go to the colored theater, and when he got there it was already dark as hell. He seriously yelled out in the theater "Damn it you sons of bitches SMILE!!! It's too damn dark to tell the difference between an empty seat and you niggers."
