The idea with a 'Snatch 'em Strap' is that you tie it on to a major structural member, normally a bull bar. In this case I'd use a sub fram ensuring the strap does not angle up to the Landcruiser's tow ball whilst touching any of the nice plastic work. And then I'd pull it ever so gently forward until its rolling. And stop.
You use those elastic straps when your 4x4 is bogged down in mud and you don't have a winch or a winch point.
