It's not just drugs, but being homeless. Unfortunately people get bacterial infections like necrotizing fasciitis that lives off the flesh of the host.
...He most likely went to the ER & received some wound care, but after being released or leaving on his own he might of took off the bandages to pick off maggots. If you're homeless, you don't have access to a shower anytime you need it. So poor hygiene & necrotic flesh attracts the flies that plant their larva, causing itching and discomfort.
... Many people on the street are mentally ill too. So they don't know what to do. It's really sad. So whenever you have the ability to throw them some cash or food, do it. Even just a little helps them more than you might think.

... I deployed to Afghanistan back in 2009-2010 while in the usmc, and trust me bro our governments & Commanding officers are on straight bullshit. The Taliban wasn't even a terrorist organization and had completely disassociated themselves with Al Qaida exiling Osama & his militia to Pakistan 3 years before our major offensive in Helmand Province.
... If people in Europe, North America, & their Colonies/Territories want to know why so many people migrate there. You can ask the government & military. A warzone is no place to raise a family, and when we invade these places we give them very little other options.

I don't have a problem with genuine refugees, who are coming here with their kids to better their lives, but when 90% of the ILLEGAL immigrants who come here are male, that is a huge problem, so is paying £8 million a day to keep them and not many British citizens are in their countries illegally and committing crimes and abusing their system

The worst part is that Philly has a “harm reduction” program and give free syringes, alcohol preps, tourniquets and even little dishes and lighters for the addicted folks to use to shoot up. Fuck! Tax dollars at work.
But once they get the wounds, hospitals turn them away…harm reduction.
They do offer free rehab, but they say they go to rehab for a “break”. Free food, bed, shower…then go back to drugs when they get out.
Anyway it’s just normal shit in Philly and other places and govt $ help keep it alive.
