I was hit at about 30mph on I95 in the US of A at 730 am (in my company work truck so workers comp is here for life if needed) and the check is clearing as we speak. I will tell you what my lawyer got as his fee, which came off the top before I had to pay anything to workers comp. Fucker got 49k. So I can say I feel for this man. What helped obviously is I was hit by a man in another work vehicle which had an umbrella Travellers policy. So there was money to be had.
