At ralphs by my house the cost of eggs 30 of them is 45 dollars.

Here in Texas, a dozen eggs is $6. If they were $45, I'd just be eggless 🥺

Dollar general has them for 4.50 and Aldi they are 4.19. I do live in the free state of Alabama.

If anyone's got space my dad had about 5 bantam hens (small chicken) and a cockrel and that used to easily keep us in eggs, sometimes to the point where we felt eggbound.
