I used to steal from the vending machines at my college. Either tip them on to 2-legs and then shake the machine, and stuff topples free, or simply reach in from the bottom (giggidy) - perks of being tall: long limbs.

Blowing them up seems like a waste of the contents (and would obviously attract unwanted attention).
