I think there are some ethical considerations with factory farmed milked but to say getting milk from a clown is an unethical act itself is ridiculous.

No, I think they're just trying to advocate for non specieism in the world all together & better treatment within the dairy industry in particular, of non human animals who undergo what they consider cruel practices so the human species can have dairy products.
I imagine the strictest of veganism means you don't ingest even human milk since they don't ingest any products that are derived from animals.
That alone seems to go against human biology.

I don't either. A person can be against the inhumane treatment of animals we use for food and still be okay with consuming them. I am.
If they don't want to eat animal products that's fine too, more for those of us that do. 🤷🏼‍♀️
