Shit, the last wolves were hunted out of the Ohio river valley before the war of 1812 I think. Maybe a few floaters remained back up east in the Allegheny mountains but I think they were depleted by the start of the 1800's. Coyotes just started moving back in the 90's. And they are a hybrid. Big like a German shepherd the Frenchy spelled one. The M one. whatever.

What do u do with the pelts and is it legal to hunt them?

Yes. I tan them and sell them at a dirt mall after I make em look like faux southwest injun crap. They can even be hunted on Sundays, provided you have a hunting license.
