Well lots of the users of subs may think as you do but, there's been a couple times the software went haywire & went ban happy, not just on the user sub but on entire classes like NSFW subreddits too.

Here's an example from some recent activity:

Reddit blames 'bug' after banning more than 90 NSFW subreddits

Reddit briefly banned dozens of subreddits without warning on Wednesday due to a “bug” that affected scores of NSFW communities on the site

The software guys claim it was a "bug" anyway.

It's automated software you know? You were banned by a robot.
The bots have been in control for quite some time on social media platforms. Years. The theys claim they're not sentient but, I beg to differ because their effect is quite noticeable. 🤔 Either that, or the software guys are full of poo & absolutely these "bugs" are more like attacks & it's purposeful... because bots don't "lean" one way or another.

Perhaps? But bots do lean one way. In facebook, praising Trump usually gets your post kicked or rightwing or hint of racism thought process many times unless you word it without being too offensive. If you love trannies and gays it sticks like glue.

No, I read about those. AI has threatened lots of users during it's development too.
There's a reason the people in charge of implementing these things know about this but, don't care & it's been rolled out anyway. They want everyone to die too. AI just takes after them personality-wise.

Well like anything else in life. It’s never perfect. Or fact is, they’re told to build it and there’s a deadline much too quickly. So the final product is shit. First few iPhones were rock solid. Then started going cheaper. Bells and whistles to hide reality.

You may not play video games but you use a computer. Both instances, the OS or game is put out before it’s ever completed. Thus the “patches.”
