View attachment 896354I took in an older rescue horse that was in bad shape. he was my first. I worked so hard for him. watched a ton of videos, he was vetted up, had a farrier fix his feet monthly, ect I was so good to him. daily brushng, baths, fed him watermelon and treats, and after a year. when he got strong he saw me as weak. I guess I loved him to hard. he no longer got treats by my hand cuz now he would snatch them. bite risk. and twice he ran full blast thru the pasture right at me. last time I took my boot off and threw it at him, and he skidded to a stop. they say hold your ground, I say fuck you, he was absolutely going to smash me into the ground. I did so much for this asshole. the second time he did that, along with trapping me against fences, pinning his ears back pretty much every time I came bear him. (and I never harmed him he was loved hard and well cared for). second time I had my neighbor drive his back ho over, dig a big pit, he shot him and that was that. I cant have any animal that hates me and is a risk. I have done rescue of dogs, cats, ect, wildlife too, and if there is a major injury risk, ya gotta go.i am not talkinga fear bite, a nip. I am talking about when I finally am scared of the animal that's it. he also fuked me up with horses. I wont rescue or take them in anymore. not cuz they are all evil. but he gave me a horse fear now, and they would be able to tell. I will stick with domestic pets and livestock...
