It’s a nothing burger. The Iranians did the same to another US base when Soleimani was assassinated under Trump’s order back in 2020. Imo Iran now prefers dialogue vs US military might but they have to show face.

I also doubt they (Iran) will go through with their threat of closing the Strait of Hormuz since it will gain them nothing but making even more enemies Worldwide and China will not be pleased. Just my 2 cents.
