MAYBE the article was originally written in Brazilian Portugese or some other language is all & then when translated to English, there was a mix up. It happens often when I use it & I have to edit & change some of the pronouns. Portuguese has exceptions to nouns normally ending in an O (masculine) or an A (feminine) specifically & that's why the software that translates gets it wrong occasionally.
Anyhoo, I use it daily to translate a half dozen foreign language articles & there are gender hiccups I notice quite frequently. It's so prevalent, I question the educational level of the journalists and I wonder if there are any humans even editing the massive quantities of crap posted online. Publishing took a dive into the toilet a long damn time ago! No wonder everything is comin' up shite now. It's worse than ever. How is AI going to help the internet? 🤣😒
