I'm strictly speaking for what I'm capable of at that range and with a bolt action rifle, especially something as well made as a Mauser Gewehr 98 or "G98"... in the States we call it the M98 I could have klacked off another two shots and not having removed my eye from that fucking scope and being the absolute master of my whore of rifle I wouldn't have underestimated my yardage like this retard did. I can almost guarantee he doesn't know how to clock in a scope properly and he's lucky to even have made that shot because he definitely underestimated his yardage because the round went High and got Charlie in the neck, actually right in the juggler which comes off the very top of the aortic branch of the heart and goes up the left side of your neck. The reason why so much blood came out and gushed out like that was because not only did Charlie have a big head, I'm sure he was tense because it was his first public appearance on his new tour and I'm sure his blood pressure was up a little which accounted for the geyser of arterial matter, and I want to point out another thing from experience with a neck shot, what happened when Charlie got shot and he clinched his clenched his fist up and stiffened up and slumped over because he really didn't feel anything, he was dead almost instantly. That amount of blood loss I knew was unsurvivable as soon as I seen the video hit my phone. He's stiffened up because the massive amount of blood loss so fast resulted in instant shock because the brain was shut down almost instantly, with that massive amount of blood loss the brain hits the emergency stop button and Charlie Kirk felt nothing more than the equivalent of getting punched in the neck. The shooter was most likely aiming for the kill box, which is what we are taught which is about 4 in by 4 in dead center chest. That way we don't blow some old lady civilians head off or air out her chest by accident while engaging the real threat🙄

I saw this map of the shooters position... and some ideas:

• 130 yards: not a long shot by any means.
• nice long unobstructed view down the rows of the rotunda and right to Kirk. Now that's taken some recon before hand. That shows someone who can plan.
• He was far enough away that he was able to exit without being caught or seen, as far as we know. Is he just lucky or is this a pro hit from someone who doesnt want this guy in the running for president next time round?
• And who would benifit from that?

I am thinking Springfield. 30-O6 by the size of the hole and the sound of the round going off. I have been shooting for 30 +years and I am almost certain that is the model of gun used.

I found this very interesting, are you active or retired military? Do you think maybe he went for a guaranteed kill shot in case of a vest? The shot placemat is so exactly on the carotid and jugular it seems to be what he planned with a single shot because I don't know your weapons specs but I think that it was a .30-O6. He knew that it was one shot and then chaos and time to exfil. What do you think?

1 minute of angle is equal to 1" at 100 yards. A decent hunting rifle with a sighted in scope should be able to do that with a very average shooter behind the gun.

My most accurate rifle, or one of them, can put a .75" group at 200 yards. I'm far from the best shot.

So a neck shot with a 3006 at 130 yards is not at all remarkable. Probably a chest shot aim that lifted higher due to nerves.

I don't understand why people think this kid is a call of duty sniper unless you've never fired a scoped hunting rifle in your life at a stationary target at a small distance, from the best shooting position possible, prone.

I will bet you any money he was aiming for his head and the bullet dropped. End of story. He wasn't aiming for a artery on the left side of his neck that's just retarded. Center mass or a headshot. The furry came close to a headshot but didn't have the experience or his gun set up properly for that distance to do it right.

So I’ve seen a bunch of ex-military lads chatting about it, and they’re all like, nah, that whole “rooftop shooter” thing doesn’t make sense. The angle’s off. They reckon he was probably wearing a vest under his T-shirt, you can get those thin plates that just cover the heart. Makes sense, right?

And the way his body reacts is a bit odd if it was just a neck shot. They’re saying the bullet likely smacked into the chest plate, ricocheted, then clipped his neck on the way out. That’s why his upper body moves like it does. Thing is, if the bullet’s travelling upwards after that, it means the shot came from ground level, not from some bloke up on a roof. Which makes them think Robinson just moved the gun for the actual shooter, and Tyler was basically there to be spotted on the roof, the fall guy.


Again, not my theory, mate, I’ve just been down the YouTube rabbit hole watching ex-squaddies break it down.

Yes. There's no need to make this a 'master sniper' shot if you know anything about shooting. Now if this shot had been taken from 500 yards then yes, I'd be thinking this guy is very good.

One MOA is one inch at 100 yards, 2" at 200 etc.

Most hunting rifles these days are easily capable of 1 MOA.

Weatherby guarantees their rifles capable of 3 shots into 1" at 100 yards.

130 yards is an easy shot. Slightly down hill which, I think, would make the shot go high if not accounted for. Maybe a head shot. But my bet woud be a chest shot that went high.
