This afternoon the first data were released from the preliminary reports of the autopsies performed on the bodies of Brenda del Castillo (20), Morena Verdi (20) and Lara Gutiérrez (15), the three young women who had been missing since Saturday, September 20. All three were working as prostitutes and were apparently promised $300 to go to an event/meeting.

They disappeared in Ciudad Evita and appeared dead in Florencio Varela, approximately 50 minutes apart.

Now, the theoretical part that is already partly confirmed. It is said that they stole drugs from some drug dealers in a villa (here in Argentina, villas are like towns with houses stacked up where immigrants live, usually from Peru, Bolivia etc.) which is a couple of blocks away.

Apparently there was a live on TikTok where they showed the torture of the girls and the drug dealers, repeating phrases like "this happens to those who steal drugs" or "learn not to mess with the narco".

The bodies found were mutilated, and one even had its chest cut open. This case is really making waves here, as it's not as common as it would be in Mexico, for example. narco ejecutions usually don't happen here.

There is a theory (probably true) that says the families were complicit since what the hell is your 15 year old daughter prostitutes herself and you do nothing??

The main suspects are eight, all foreigners; none have confessed yet. Let's hope it's resolved and the people who deserve to go to jail, go to jail.

Been to both several times and both are incomparably better to live than Argentina,maybe lately some political issues in Bolivia,but Peru has got the single best cuisine in the southern hemisphere in my opinion

That's not true. Not all the country. Just outside the capital , the main city. We call it "conurbano" and has some zones that are dangerous. I live in a southern province and we live in peace here.
