wait whaaatt? you dont have malls in your area anymore?? where do broke teenagers even hang around and window shop now </3I remember when we used to have Malls
our two malls closed down years ago.
I really miss going to the mall, it was an experience you get all dressed up And walk around the mall all day long. Even if you didn't buy anything it was still fun. I met a lot of girls at the mall. 🤔
They just have strip malls and the thrift shops, there is just buildings in a row on streets. It used to be one really big building and had all the shops inside and there was like 3 levels. They shut down all of that where I'm at. I'm pretty sure the kids nowadays Just do drive by's and drugs. I don't think it will ever be like it was When we were growing up.wait whaaatt? you dont have malls in your area anymore?? where do broke teenagers even hang around and window shop now </3
thats such a shame... and really a waste of land. its saddening to see that children now would never feel the whimsy of just strolling in a mall with a sweet treat in hand :cThey just have mini malls and the thrift shops, there is just buildings in a row on streets. it's all fucked up now.
I know it's sad to see the country like this. We used to have to go to malls and stores. And parks and other places to meet girls and friends, nowadays It's all on their phones.thats such a shame... and really a waste of land. its saddening to see that children now would never feel the whimsy of just strolling in a mall with a sweet treat in hand :c
id think that considering how big america's malls are, they'd have at least keep older malls or renovate them at most
Yeah, the malls they have now are much-reduced in size and don't have that community feeling to them that the malls of old had. Lots of novelty stores, public spaces to hang out with fountains and benches to sit on, lots of chicks to check out, food courts with a real diversity of food and independent vendors, not just Panda Express and Popye's Chicken bullshit. Really big and spread out and they smelled a lot nicer. Good memories at least while we watch everything swirling around the bowl.thats such a shame... and really a waste of land. its saddening to see that children now would never feel the whimsy of just strolling in a mall with a sweet treat in hand :c

icl malls here are kind of dying too, replacing a lot of local vendors with big name brands (but the government expects us to go to the middle of buttfuck nowhere to support local business). only old malls have arcades, or family and children oriented spaces.Yeah, the malls they have now are much-reduced in size and don't have that community feeling to them that the malls of old had. im already looking back at my kindergarten days and missing it 💔🥀 i miss just walking around malls and walking into water fountains100% agree.
With this AI developing at a super fast pace. I think within the next 20 years, We're gonna look back at this and say these were the good times.
Oh yeah, how could I forget the arcades? Must have dropped a thousand quarters in those machines. Another thing that people used to do in the flesh together replaced by the cyber experience.icl malls here are kind of dying too, replacing a lot of local vendors with big name brands (but the government expects us to go to the middle of buttfuck nowhere to support local business). only old malls have arcades, or family and children oriented spaces.
There's so many weirdos out there nowadays That you have to keep your kids glued to your hips Now, because who knows what the hell can happen to them.im already looking back at my kindergarten days and missing it 💔🥀 i miss just walking around malls and walking into water fountains
But on a positive note, we survived our childhoods and we will always have those memories. That's something the kids nowadays will never have or experience. There's so many weirdos out there nowadays That you have to keep your kids glued to your hips Now, because who knows what the hell can happen to them.
There's homeless everywhere, Drug addicts everywhere, psycho's everywhere.
It's just a completely different world nowadays than when we grew up.
