"Even worse than Only Fools and Horses! DIYer drops a chandelier and tumbles from his ladder in farcical footage... but his friend cares more about his hurt finger
This is the farcical moment a DIYer drops a chandelier and tumbles from his ladder after his unhelpful friend lets go.
- The footage shows the man up the ladder trying to fix a wobbly light
- The light falls and hits his friend who is holding the ladder on his hand
- He then lets go of the ladder and his friend comes plummeting to floor
- Instead of rushing to help his friend, he stayed still and held his finger
The footage, posted by a Twitter user from Glasgow, Scotland, shows the man up the ladder trying to fix a wobbly light.
But it detaches from the ceiling and falls down, hitting the second man's finger as he holds the ladder.
The pain causes the man to let go of the ladder as his friend loses his balance.
The man on the ladder then plummets to the floor as the ladder falls away from under his feet.
He hits the deck hard and lies on the floor in agony.
But instead of rushing to help his friend who was sprawled out on the floor as a result of his actions, the other man stood still and held his poorly finger.
The video has been watched hundreds of times after it was shared by Twitter user @lxwissss.
User Lizze Brand summarised the hilarity by writing: 'The fact that that kid just fell off a f***** ladder and the other guy is crying over his finger'.
Other viewers were reminded of the iconic Only Fools and Horses scene where Del and Rodney smashed a chandelier."
