Yeah its a shame, every patent can relate to his actions but in his blind rage he shot the guys dad by accident so he had to pay some kind of price, but from all reports CV is a stand up guy and took his punishment in his stride.

Glad hes been released he was an incredible heavyweight and is unanimously adored amongst his peers something that cannot be said for all cage fighters by a long stretch.

I own all Pride Fc, WEC, Strikeforce, WVC, pro-elite, UFC, I started watching MMA in 2001 the sport has moved forward a lot in the 8 years since he has fought and he's 8years less in tune than the last time he lost, he retired because his back was toast then.

I don't want to see him fight again, he'd get smoked.

I'd not be against him having a roll within UFC.

I also don't think Dana would hire him to fight, thankfully he's been very vocal about not doing it since he repeatedly let BJ Penn destroy his GOAT level legacy.

He's a writer for mmafighting.com. I've been on that site for like 10 years. Burned through a few accounts due to community standards. I'm fairly certain the ufc will be going all in on gable Stevenson. He will be in the ufc by the end of 2026 and once there, they will fast track him to the title. He's actually pretty good though, but still learning. He's training under Jon Jones. He will learn eye pokes and side quad kicks 😆. Jon was a savage pre usada days. His fight iq is super high. As long as gable keeps him as a fighting coach, and not a life coach, he will probably have alotta success.
