I was 8 when V was first shown, the scene with one of the human women giving birth (to a normal - albeit with a gross lizard tongue - baby first then a full-on lizard abomination in a classic bait-and-switch) scared the ever-loving shit out of me at the time. However it's fair to say that viewing it now on YouTube it has somewhat lost its power to shock... it looks truly feeble.

The remake was really good for like 20 episodes, then it collapsed in a heap of plot holes, bad writing, and reversing previous plot point from season 1 to 2.
Even season 4 and 5 of Lost didn't make me go WTF!? as much.
