From what I read online, this cop and the female partner had an on and off relationship. She broke up the relationship and this shooting incident happened. Either way this dude was fired and stripped of his police power.

salary depends on where you are hired, when she started it was 26K a year......in 98, 99.
now i believe its double that......then you have Port Authority cops make double that starting.
of course smaller towns pay less, sheriff departments pay around 50......then state boys make over 100k.
