Macron also said the evidence so far pointed to the Hezbollah and urged Lebanese authorities to act against those responsible.

Hezbollah denied any involvement in the attack, expressing its "surprise at positions that rushed to make baseless accusations" against the group.

French armed forces minister Catherine Vautrin said the patrol was ambushed while on a mission to open a route to a UNIFIL post that had been isolated by fighting in the area.

The soldier was killed by direct small-arms fire, she said. UNIFIL said the attack occurred in the southern Lebanese village of Ghandouriyeh." Source

Guided-missile destroyer USS Spruance (DDG 111) intercepted M/V Touska as it transited the north Arabian Sea at 17 knots enroute to Bandar Abbas, Iran. American forces issued multiple warnings and informed the Iranian-flagged vessel it was in violation of the U.S. blockade.

After Touska’s crew failed to comply with repeated warnings over a six-hour period, Spruance directed the vessel to evacuate its engine room. Spruance disabled Touska’s propulsion by firing several rounds from the destroyer’s 5-inch MK 45 Gun into Touska’s engine room. U.S. Marines from the 31st

Marine Expeditionary Unit later boarded the non-compliant vessel, which remains in U.S. custody.

It's like Venezuela, Trump seems to have thought that by going in a grabbing Maduro from his own country would change the regime. Not. Maduro wasn't running things: the cartel was, and probably still is. That woman who became their 'leader' (or whatever they call it) has to also work with them, besides trying to seem to be working with Trump. We don't hear anything anymore about that country and the woman running it ,along with their oil that you need a shovel to pump with.

Trump did nothing. Not they have lost that momentum, that US backing and are being bombed by the US and Israel so naturally they have mostly now sided with the Iranian regime.

Bibi has been after every US president for the past 20 yrs to strike Iran and none wanted to get all fucked in the middle east until Trump and MAGA came along. The move comes as the White House put on hold Vice President JD Vance’s planned trip to Pakistan for a second round of truce talks with Iran, which has balked at further discussions. But Trump warned that the U.S. military will continue its blockade of Iranian ports.

Trump made the announcement as ceasefire talks looked increasingly uncertain with a two-week truce set to expire on Wednesday. Both countries had said they were prepared to resume fighting if no deal is reached.

Trump said he would “extend the Ceasefire until such time as their proposal is submitted, and discussions are concluded, one way or the other.”

Iran has yet to decide whether to join the negotiations in Pakistan, a Foreign Ministry spokesperson said earlier Tuesday, and will only take part if Tehran believes the discussions would yield results.

Since the war started, fighting has killed at least 3,375 people in Iran and more than 2,290 in Lebanon. Additionally, 23 people have died in Israel and more than a dozen in Gulf Arab states. Fifteen Israeli soldiers in Lebanon and 13 U.S. service members throughout the region have been killed.

Writing on his Truth Social website, Trump contended that “Iran doesn’t want the Strait of Hormuz closed, they want it open” so they can sell their crude oil.

The S&P 500 erased an early rise to fall 0.6% after the U.S. vice president called off his trip to Pakistan for negotiations with Iran.

State TV quoted the Iranian judiciary’s Mizan news agency denying Trump’s claims that the women are facing execution. It said some have already been released, while others face charges that — if upheld by the courts — would ultimately result in prison sentences rather than execution.

Yes, operative word is "AI". Iran has rebuked his claim saying that 3 women were in prison for various jail terms, not execution. There is no way to tell who is telling the truth in this shitshow.
