Let's discuss real socks because why not?

Getting ready to make a short trip today and as I was fishing for socks in the sock drawer, I thought I can't possibly be the only person that just has a big drawer full of loose random socks, can I?

All the socks I are own are small (ankle-high), black in color and are a mix of brands.

I remember as a kid my sock drawer was neat and all of the socks were paired up with their respective mates. I haven't seen my sock drawer in that condition since childhood. My ex-wife once tried to organize my sock drawer but it didn't last and I insisted it should remain an incoherent jumble and she never tried to organize it again.

Am I alone or does anyone else here find themselves playing whack-a-mole with a giant drawer of deceptively similar socks every fucking morning?

Certain external conditions are indicative of your emotional/mental condition.

Things like:
Sock drawers
Kitchen cabinets
Closets
Garages
Desk drawers

If you find these are messy and cacophonic, it might indicate your mind is eclectic or unorganized.

I find it helpful and a peace of mind to put these things into order. Not many things I can directly control in life, but my socks paired together by god is one of them.

From a psychological standpoint, that is often the case. I keep my home well-organized but the sock drawer is an exception.

No way. Pics or you're full of shit!

It's almost laundry day. I still have more. I have been stacking some over the years. I need to invest in a drawer.

Mastershake, on behalf of all of us, we're worried about you. It's not normal for a grown man to have a large garbage bag full of mismatched socks. Put them in a drawer like an adult. You need to hide your shame.

It's not commonly known, but there was a fourth harbinger that a child would grow up to be a psycho, in addition to abusing animals, wetting the bed, and starting fires: Collecting odd socks in garbage bags. If you look carefully at pictures of serial killers' homes, you'll see this frequently. Jars of hands, buckets of blood, and garbage bags of odd socks.

Do we need to do an intervention?
