This cartoon is just plain dumb. Trump commands the strongest military in the world. Iran is helpless.

If anything the shark in this political cartoon could have depicted the surface level fin as Iran itself, with Iran's hidden "allies" being the body below the surface. I say this lightly since China and Russia aren't exactly in positions to help Iran as much as we may believe (Russia being bogged down in a Vietnam-style quagmire in Ukraine, and China unable to contend with its own issues in the South China sea, etc.) The Chinese however have a huge vested interest in Hormuz being opened as their energy supply is predominantly oil and delivered through there, otherwise their domestic coal is their only energy for their 2nd largest economy on Earth of which, and ironically, the USA is one of their most vital trade partners. So Iran is not so much a shark as it is a wounded nearly helpless fish, and the USA, for whatever reason depicted solely as Trump as an inflatable pool toy is more like 50 sharks with laser beams on their heads and the only thing holding them back from going berserk on the wounded Iran fish are chains held by weak-armed international treaties like the Geneva Convention for example. Don't take this analysis personally, it's just how I see it.

It's clear that China and Russia are sitting back with a gazillion nukes many of them in subs that are hard to detect. So if they decide to start defending "allies" instead of letting them get obliterated then THAT is the real question. And THAT will be the real test for the USA. And, of course, most likely the start of a new Stone Age because everything will be destroyed.

Ok ...if he said that .....obviously he had a reassessment of the situation: Iran was about to go full nuclear missile capable and we can not have that ...neither can our ally Israel. So we can all he grateful that he is humble enough to admit he was wrong and adjust his plans accordingly.

The big difference between Russia, China and Iran is that Iran doesn't care if they die, supposedly they get all those Virgin goats to fuck... Russia and China know that MAD would happen..... And vice versa, the US also knows MAD would happen if they attacked. What most don't understand is if Iran got a nuke, immediately Saudi Arabia, UAE, Turkey, Eygypt and many other countries will then fast track getting Nuclear weapons. Its easier to stop one country before it gets a Nuke than to wait and see what happens and just hope the crazies in Iran don't shoot a Nuke. China and Russia staying out of it is a common sense thing..... Plus it also helps that BRICS is effectively dismantled also. Its a win/win.

And when it’s all said and done, how much enjoyment do you think the rest of the free world is going to have using the Strait of Hormuz but not helping at all with keeping it open?
That’s what America does because we are the largest and most feared super power in the world. Iran is not going to win this. They better get used to seeing their dicks in that desert dirt.
