Windows 8

I can't rage enough about this idiotic idea to put windows 8 onto a non-touch screen computer. Anyways, I must say I don't have enough tech savvy to go on and erase windows 8 and replace it with windows 7. I tried and nearly fucked my computer. I kind of just want to know the .exe for third party apps running with windows 8 so I can manually stop them via task manager b/c it kind of interferes with games that are not yet compatible with windows 8. :\

any help guys?

Ha! Windows 8 takes a while to get use to. If you hover your mouse in the top right hand corner, the Charms bar will appear. Click on the "Search" icon and all the apps will appear. If you right click on a specific app, it will give you the option at the bottom of the screen to uninstall it. I uninstalled a bunch of the worthless apps that came with Windows 8. win8 blows.
i tried throwing it on my notebook last december. worst idea ever.
although, i've heard that since the recent updates, it's improved dramatically.
but i'm still not entirely convinced.

Heres what you do:
Reboot, and press F8 immediately (or whatever F key is designated to select a primary boot device on your computer)
Insert Windows 7 disk
REFORMAT and install

its easy man.. just put the cd in reboot and itll show you the option to boot from cd or boot win8?

all your shit will end up in the windows old folder in program files

i had to downgrade a week ago cuz obviously when you buy a new cpu your key expires...makes sense? not really

You can call Micro$oft up and transfer your key to the new motherboard. I did that when I upgraded my computer to Haswell 2 weeks ago.

I just got windows 8. I gotta say the app things suck. Though i like the lap top i just got. 15inch asus. i7. geforce 745m. for the games i want to play, this thing is perfect. just windows 8 layout blows!
