I've never tried metalwork but as soon as it freezes, then it's time to start painting some things inside. Can't do it during the other seasons because the humidity
causes the paint to slide right off; and the painted surface becomes a no-pest strip.

Painting is literally the one thing I suck at. I can build anything, but I have to let someone else paint! I don't know why, it's either to thin or too glopped when I try.

We were supposed to move to the desert but we wound up here in frozen hell.
American deserts are heaven! It's a bummer you're stuck where you are!
Oh man, don't I know it!! Just the thought of being able to put my critters outside year-long would be heaven!! I love my turtle and my tortoises but DAMN!! They stink!! They belong outside!! And not busting my butt on ice every year...the beautiful starry sky...prickly pears and making margaritas out of them...joshua trees....I'm depressing myself.
Oh well. At least Oktoberfest is coming and that ROCKS!!!
