Since I beat the last game too fast, I spent $30 on getting the Sherlock Holmes collection. Not a bad price! Here we go!

I'm speaking hypothetically... I don't actually intend to do such a thing... Who would?View attachment 184132
Emulation doesn't work like that. Ports, sure. Emulation though... no. Also, having both a gaming pc and current gen consoles has taught me that graphics don't matter. We won't be seeing any real increases in graphical output any time soon. Draw distance, shaders, lighting, all the stuff that makes our games look shiny don't mean shit because the people who make games aren't working on the stuff that should be important. The physical interaction with the world in any game still looks like absolute balls. Clipping and invisible walls are the norm. That's fucked. When you can instantly be drawn out of what is supposed to be an immersive experience it doesn't matter what kind of controller your using, or console/computer you're playing on.
I can agree to a certain point, but even PC only games are programmed to an average that doesn't push the boundaries of the hardware. No company has taken a stand as being only for elite systems, so this elite attitude that I see coming from PC users is rather silly.I'm speaking hypothetically... Also, I'm not boasting, I'm making a point about the major lack of quality (not to mention time relevant) components in consoles.
For me, immersion is pretty graphically dependent I can't get into a game that looks like it was made by a 40 year old nerd in his moms basement in the 60s. Except for the games I grew up playing, of course (Super Mario, LoZ, Sonic, etc.) - which are virtually timeless games.
I suppose my reverence for hardware is largely based on potential. At the end of the day, you're right - no matter how powerful your hardware, you're limited by a programmer's best output - which isn't always great.I can agree to a certain point, but even PC only games are programmed to an average that doesn't push the boundaries of the hardware. And, of course what gamer could argue, the classics are awesome. Sometimes I wish I still had the old hardware because emulators don't really do it for me.
I forgot to mention I have my PSX, PS2, and Xbox as well. I figured the 360 and PS3 would be obvious.I still have quite a few old consoles.
SNES, PS1, PS2, n64, xbox and xbox 360.
I think Playstation dropped the ball for me on ps3 but that's just for me personally. I know plenty of people who love theirs.

Bite your tongue! If that's an Xbox 1 exclusive I might just cry...The only thing that would get me to get an Xbox ONE is if and when Fallout:4 graces planet earth.

Next gen is fine. Microsoft isn't. We went through 4 360's and our only PS3 survived the whole time and to this day. I'm not going back to the microsoft platform. Forget that.I'm pretty certain they have already said that it will only be released on the New Gen Machines.
