Yeah I seen a standup machine for about the same price, it's about $40 worth of fucking wood from bunnings... you can do it all with an old cheap as fuck retro TV screen (old games look shit on hi-def) and a basic PC hidden inside $40 worth of jigsaw work. There's plans online everywhere, I'll give it a shot one day.
I read, the orginal mechanic/electric pinball, fruit machines, etc. demand a lot of maintenance and spare-parts. Light bulbs, rubbers, contacts and relays. Depending on how much you play of course. The spare-parts are a market itself, a buddy had a Wurlitzer and a pinball, but he gave it away after some years.
