In Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, a migrant driving a taxi hit a woman and her daughter at a pedestrian crossing

The footage shows a taxi driver hitting people who were crossing the road at a pedestrian crossing at high speed. The culprit of the accident was a 22-year-old citizen of Kyrgyzstan.

The woman has a closed craniocerebral injury and a concussion. The girl has a closed craniocerebral injury, a concussion, and a fracture of the right hip.

A criminal case has been opened under Part 1 of Article 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation; the maximum sentence is only 2 years in prison.
