10 American Serial Killers Who will Haunt Us For Ever.

I corrected Bela's wrong assertion Ed Gein wasn't a serial killer when in fact he was according to the F.B.I. definition of serial murder.
so then was the ice man a serial killer or a murderer? yes he worked for the mob as an enforcer and killed plenty of men. in various ways. and he even "invented" new methods supposedly. because now I'm a little confused on what i THOUGHT I new,and to what the fbi defines. i still think 2 people isn't enough to be serial material. so if a teen kills more than one animal, that makes him a serial killer too? or just a troubled teen on his way to becoming a serial....

Animal cruelty and human murder are completely different things legally. Not even close. The symposium page by the F B.I. discusses Kuklinkski and others.

Single murder could be just to experience the act. Second murder is serial murder. 1 followed by 2 is a series. The idea is to get the proper investigative resources going early rather than treating two cases as separate and unrelated .
