Shortly after a brawl was reported inside Cereso number 3 in Chihuahua, where three people allegedly died, two of them members of the Sinaloa Cartel, several armed men attacked businesses in Ciudad Juarez.

Gunshots were fired at civilian vehicles in the streets and parking lots, stores and gas stations were set on fire, and armed men entered stores to shoot at whoever was inside, were among the actions reported in various media outlets.

Among the reports were that two women were killed in the attacks on businesses, four other male employees of a radio station who were broadcasting in a mobile unit were also killed and a human head was found in a property, a total of 10 people were killed.
