How are the cops gonna know that, they saw a gun and have to suspect both have guns. Better than thinking one has a gun, then focusing on that one person and get shot by the second person.
So it's also ok to be shooting into the dark 16 times? Could two maybe three shots not be plenty. It's not like they didn't have an extreme advantage. They had cover and the suspects had lights in their eyes meaning if one of them did shoot, which they didn't, they wouldn't be able to even know where to shoot
They weren't in any more danger than usual. They just enjoy shooting people.

Yes it's definitely ok to shoot in the dark 16 times if yk someone has a gun. What if it was a extended clip/mag and had a switch, wouldn't really need to see at that distance, just spray and pray. also it doesn't matter if they were in any more danger, it's pretty simple. Chasing suspect, suspects runs and has a gun, get shields and rifles to move up on suspect. Now from this point it's on the suspects to either put up their hands and follow orders to live or rustle around in the bushes where it's hard for cops to see u, then get lit up.
These dumb fucks had a decision from the moment they wake up, and they chose violence. U always want to have the advantage if u want to go home safe and not get shot because some idiot wants to look a certain way.
